WARRANTY REPAIRS A receipt or valid proof of purchase must be provided before any warranty work will be done. STANDARD SERVICE A diagnostic labor fee of $45.00 is due at the time of check-in. I understand that if I have additional work done, other labor charges will be added at the normal posted rates. Payment in full is required before any release of equipment can be done by Computer Express.
LOSS OF DATA I understand that in some rare cases service work may cause some or all data loss from my equipment. I assume all responsibility for backing up my data and reinstalling lost data or software. Computer Express has no responsibility or liability for any software, lost data, or files no longer on my equipment.
PARTS Parts replaced under Computer Express’s 90 dayWarranty will not be returned to me. All other parts replaced will be returned to me. New, used, or refurbished parts may be used for any repairs. |
SERVICE WARRANTY Computer Express warrants all replacement parts used in the repair for 90 days from the pickup date after the work has been completed. Computer Express warrants all service work for 30 days. Beyond 30 days labor charges for installed parts will be applied. Computer Express will fix or replace parts found to be defective during the 90 day warranty period at their discretion. This does not include parts that have been made defective by customer neglect or an act of god. In no event will Computer Express be liable for any damages due to loss of data or defects in parts. The total liability of Computer Express shall in NO EVENT exceed the sum paid for this repair. UNCLAIMED EQUIPMENT Any items not claimed within (30) days of the completion of the repair shall be considered abandoned by the customer. I authorize Computer Express to dispose of the abandoned equipment as they see fit.
AMMENDMENTS No amendment to or modification of this agreement will be binding unless it is in writing and signed by an authorized Computer Express manager. |
